Van Joffrion is a certified fire investigator with over 30 years of experience in the fire service, including fire investigations. Certified through the International Association of Arson Investigators and the National Association of Fire Investigators, Van currently works for S.C. Fire Consulting, Inc., a private investigation and code analyst consulting company licensed in Texas and Louisiana. Since 2006, he has investigated fire scenes in both the public and private sectors, specializing in determining fire origins and causes.

Van has extensive training in fire code inspections, plan reviews, and compliance. He studied fire technology at Delgado Community College and criminal justice at Craven Community College. His work as a private investigator spans Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. Van is an active member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the Louisiana Association of Arson Investigations, and the National Association of Fire Investigators.
